FAQ

 

Question: In crew challenge we can register with 6 players but in club open we can only register with 5 players. If we are playing with the 6th player in crew challenge who isn't registered then will it cause any problem?

Answer: We will get the top 8 matches result by the Crew performance, so all crew member can play the Crew Challenge Qualifying Round but only players who registered in Club Open through registration website will be invited to Group Stage of Club Open.

 

Question: Tablets/iPads are banned from club open for online matches as well?

Answer: Yes, tablets are not allowed in top 32 team qualifiers. We have the ability to detect what type of device is being used, and teams that use Emulators, Tablets, or other prohibited devices will be disqualified for the PMCO.

 

Question: The process of registration?

Answer: First register your team through in-game crew challenge then register through the website with the same team and name players.

 

Question: Why can't I change the crew region in the registration form?

Answer: Residency is based on the majority residency requirement that at least 3 members of your team must be from the same region your team is registering for. Changing the residency of the individual players to the correct country in the registration form will update the team's region automatically. Teams that do not have a minimum of 3 players from the region will not qualify for the PMCO Group Stages.

 

Question: The minimum age requirement for participating in PUBG MOBILE Club Open?

Answer: 16 years.

 

Question: Is it necessary to play TPP in crew challenge for PMCO as there is an option to register for FPP as well?

Answer: Yes, it is necessary to play in TPP mode in order to qualify for the PMCO.

 

Question: Can players change IGN (In-Game Name) during crew challenge?

Answer: Yes

 

Question: Should we remove symbol or spaces from crew name

Answer: Symbols should be removed, Ok for space.

 

Question: Can a player outside of my region play in my team?

Answer: Yes. A maximum of 2 players can be from outside your region.

 

Question: In the rule handbook, it's written - "An individual or group cannot directly or indirectly own or operate multiple Teams". Does that mean one Esports organization can't have two or three different line ups under different club names and be owned by one organization?

Answer: An Esports organization can support multiple clubs under different names during the Crew Challenge Qualifiers. However, once in the PMCO group stages, each organization can only have one team globally and must divest from additional teams if they have multiple teams that qualify.

 

Question: If we play crew challenge on iPad then what will happen? Can we make it to round of 32 and then switch to mobile or we will be disqualified?

Answer: We have the ability to detect what type of device is being used. Any team that plays any games with a prohibited device (Tablets, emulators, etc.) for the purposes of the PMCO qualifiers will be disqualified and ineligible to move onto the PMCO Group Stages.
