Rules

PDP's 2nd Classic Themed Design Contest is underway! This time, we're revisiting the themes and concepts that defined the early PUBG MOBILE experience. Join the contest for a chance to win a share of the US $60,000 cash prize and see your outfit added to the game!

Submission Explanation

Theme Concept

This competition calls for designs that capture the essence of classic PUBG MOBILE—we're going back to where it all started. Your entries should focus on the core ideas and themes that defined the original PUBG MOBILE experience.

This competition is about simplicity, originality, and authenticity—celebrating the spirit of PUBG MOBILE's beginnings without using designs from later content. Let's create something that honors the game's legacy!

Creation Type

Outfit designs must be of a complete set, with front and back views, paired with an accessory (e.g. throwables, backpack, helmet).

Design & Submission Rules

Any design software may be used, but creators must keep all source files for all submissions, such as PSD files. Please save a time-lapse of part of your design process to serve as evidence if any issues arise during the review period.

Submissions must be complete and comply with relevant laws and regulations, in addition to being completely and entirely original and not plagiarized. Use of AI is prohibited. Submissions must be exclusive to PUBG MOBILE, and cannot be entered in any other events or contests.

Please download the design template for outfit submissions. Present the outfit's front view and back view, including the design details as specified. Fill in the creation's name, creator's name and UID, and design inspiration. You may customize the template's background, but all required information must be included.

Specifications: Image Size: 1920×1080. Image Format: JPG. File Size: no greater than 10 MB.

To maintain entry quality, each creator may submit no more than 5 entries. Using multiple accounts to bypass this limit is prohibited.

Judging System

1. Judge Selection:

The 2nd PDP Classic Themed Design Contest will invite art directors, video game producers, operations specialists, marketing specialists, designers, and official design team members to collaborate on judging the submissions.

2. Judging Process:

a. How will the winners be chosen?

There will be two rounds of judging: shortlisting and final judgment. The judging committee and the official creative team will choose qualified submissions for the shortlist, from which the official judges will select the prize winners.

b. How will the Popularity Award winners be chosen?

Results will be based on the number of votes. To ensure fairness in this PDP contest, votes will be officially screened for fraudulent behavior and verified before awards are issued. Severe violators will be disqualified!

c. How do I know whether my entry has passed the initial and follow-up reviews?

Once you've submitted your entry, it will undergo two rounds of review by the official team. If it passes initial review, it will be selected for re-review, and if it passes re-review, it will be shortlisted and advance to the Voting Stage. It will also eligible for the final awards selection. If your entry cannot be found on the voting page, it means it did not make it to the Voting Stage and will not receive any awards. You can check your entry's status via in-game mail, Co-Create Space Personal Center notifications, and Discord.

3. Judging Criteria:

a. Originality:

The design is creative and original. It also differs from the outfits available in the game. Rather than relying on special effects, it focuses on showcasing its creativity and design, establishing innovative ideas that break conventions.

b. Quality:

The design is high quality, featuring smooth clean lines and complementary colors. It also fits the theme and vibe, using color contrast and layering to highlight the design focus.

c. Value:

The entry should take into account the actual presentation in the game, such as proportions and other aspects. It should also be appealing to other PUBG MOBILE players.

d. PUBG MOBILE Style:

The entry's aesthetics and expressive ideas fit in well with PUBG MOBILE, ensuring consistency with the game's overall style.
